Yellow Cone Flowers that I am working on in Pastel - Update 1

This still has a long ways to go, but it is starting to take shape. I wish pastel was not so messy, I would love to do more. I normally only do pastel in the warm weather so I can keep the mess outdoors. Just in case I do not post again today, I would like to say thank you for all of the support I have received from everyone. I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Red Peony Watercolor Painting I am working on - Update 1

I started working on the background a little more, also I am starting to darken the shadow areas. I posted this picture turned around last time, but now I can't make up my mind which way I like it best, let me know what you think. Thanks

Another Goat, these guys are just too cute. I actually am going to do an Alpaca after these ones.

and last a bee on a flower, should be interesting lol. I Have 6 now on the go, I will try to post updates of them all as I go. I find it more productive to have many on the go, as one is drying or if I get bored with one I can work on one of the others. I also have an Iris drawn out but I will not start that one until some of these are finished. These are all 8x10.

Finished this Pink and Yellow Lily tonight, I received this reference photo from another artist Ron Morrison, he sent me this one along with some others from his garden. Thank you very much Ron for the lovely inspiration! Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!

New Watercolor Paintings and a Pastel that I am working on

This is a red peony that I have been working on, still has a ways to go, I will post updates as I finish it. Watercolor 8x10

This Lily has a ways to go also, I will probably darken the background some more (I will finish the Lily first) Watercolor 8x10

This is a pastel that I am working on, it is 11x14 and is really in the beginning stages.

I will post some other paintings later that i have also started to work on. I am excited to be back in my studio full time again.

1 of 2 Watercolor Paintings I am Working on - The 3 Little Goats Finally Done!

The 3 Goats is finally done! I am so glad to have this done finally and to have Christmas over with for another year, it is so much work leading up to it. I am also working on a couple of flowers, I will post some progress on those later today hopefully. I can't wait for New Years! I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season!

Sorry I have not posted before this, I am still painting (will post some updates soon), but I have also been very busy getting ready for Christmas!

Put Up Your Dukes!

I thought I would post another photograph I took, i just love the stance that these little guys get, they look like they are ready for a good fight! I am still working on the goats (almost done) I will post it as soon as I am finished, also have been busy working on my Christmas cards.
