My First Landscape Painting Attempt in Acrylic - Finished
OK I am calling this one done :), There are things I really like about it and there are things I might do differently if I painted this again not that I am going to do that) Over all it was a great experience with acrylics, I am still working away at my others, I will post them when I get a chance. Thanks for stopping in, have a great day!

A fine piece of work you should be delighted with. It has a lovely feeling to it xx
ReplyDeleteLe chemin du bonheur... Belle atmosphère. Bises
ReplyDeleteKrista, don't know how you do it ... but you do. Manage to create something so beautiful that is. Excellent job... good luck.
ReplyDeleteWell done Krista!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat, martine, Barbra and sam
ReplyDeleteGreat job my friend,
ReplyDeletejan :)
Done very nicely, Krista.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Krista. It's always nice to challenge oneself and step out of the comfort zone to try something different. You will come away richer in knowledge and experience for it.
ReplyDeleteYour first acrylic landscape...I can only imagine how beautiful your fifth and tenth will be. You have already achieved such excellent results. This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI really love the composition of this painting.
Thank you jan, Terry, Carol ( I agree, it has been a great lesson), and Christiane :)
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend
Nice work Krista. Acrylic has it's own challenges, but you make it look easy.
ReplyDeleteThank you Priti, you are always so kind :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job Krista.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful Krista. Never doubted your talent for a minute. Well done.
ReplyDeleteWell I've come back in time for the final result and it's definitely a Wow!
ReplyDeleteI think it is a painting of great beauty and emotion glad i came back to my old blog and saw it.
ReplyDeleteHey Christa this is really great work, this is your first landscape painting and it is good. Keep it up see you in the next post bye....
ReplyDeleteOff to a wonderful start. Lovely piece. Looking forward to seeing what you do, how you change and how you grow as you do more of these. Inevitably aren't there always things you'd like to do better? (I always find that on every painting, which I believe to be a good sign.) The day I think I've "done it" is the day I'll hang it up! To grow one has to continue to find the "not right" stuff! Darn it all anyway! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Dors, Joan, Liz, Ralph, watercolor paintings, and Carol, I believe it is a good sign as well, it is the only way you will continue growing as an artist :)
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, sorry it has been so long in between post.
Hi Krista!.... A lovely... strong and well planned landscape!A great use of the road as a compositional device to draw the eye inescapably towards the intended copse of colour in the middle ground!
