I am also working on this iris, I meant to take more pictures of this , but I got carried away and forgot to stop, I still have a lot to do. I will try to pull myself away and take some more pictures as I go along. :)

I am calling this done for now, I had a hard time getting a good picture (It is night time here) I will take a better picture in the daylight tomorrow. Another Lily Watercolor Painting - Finished!

I finally finished the lily today, glad to have it completed. I darkened some more of the background and lightened a few spots and finished developing the darks. Hope you like it, have a wonderful night! :)

Another Lily Watercolor Painting - Update1

As I posted earlier I am working on four new paintings, this is an update for the lily. I worked a little more on the others also, but I am trying to keep this in some type of order so I will post those later.

Red Peony Watercolor turned into Pastel - Finished!

This is the watercolor that I started and when I was working on my pastel I got a little carried away and decided to finish this one in pastel, I was just having too much fun lol. I find the experience is completely different when you have that pure pigment in you hand. I might go back and do it again as a watercolor also, we will see.

Yellow Cone Flowers that I am working on in Pastel - Finished!

Finished this a few minutes ago, I got so carried away with the pastels I started to finish my red peony with them, I find the colors so vibrant and clean. I will post an update on the Red Peony later. We are getting a big snowfall tonight so I will have lots of time to work on my paintings. Hope everyone has a great night!
